Highstone Media, LLC does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising — and has not done so in the preceding twelve (12) months.

We publish this page so that, if you visit our Site and CCPA / CPRA (or another state law that provides a comparable opt-out) applies to you, you can see our position and exercise the right anyway should you wish to confirm it.

“Sell” and “share” carry the meaning given under California Civil Code § 1798.140 and the regulations issued by the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA): a sale is a disclosure of personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration; sharing is a disclosure for cross-context behavioural advertising.

What we do not do on highstonemedia.com

• We do not install advertising pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.).
• We do not load third-party retargeting libraries or audience-sync tags.
• We do not append querystring identifiers from ad platforms (e.g. fbclid, gclid) to onward links to other vendors.
• We do not sell, license, or otherwise disclose visitor lists, email signups, or contact-form submissions to advertising networks, data brokers, or aggregators.

What we do

• We log server-side request metadata (IP, user agent, referer) for security and operational reasons via Cloudflare and our hosting provider.
• We count aggregate page views via Plausible — cookie-free, with the IP hashed and discarded daily.
• We collect page-load performance metrics via Vercel Analytics — cookie-free, no identifiers.

Even though we do not sell or share personal information, you may submit a request to confirm or formalise that position. We honour requests from any individual — you do not have to verify California residency to ask.

Methods (any one of these is sufficient):

• Email privacy@highstonemedia.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share — Opt Out”.
• Call +1 (360) 994-1062 during business hours (Mon–Fri, 8 AM – 6 PM MT) and tell us you are submitting a Do-Not-Sell-or-Share request.
• Send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser. We treat GPC as a valid opt-out under § 7025 of the CCPA regulations.

We respond to verifiable consumer requests within 15 business days (well within the 15-day statutory window for opt-out requests). Where required to verify your identity, we will match the email address or company on file or ask one confirming question. We will not require you to create an account to submit a request.

Authorised agents. You may use an authorised agent to submit this request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for (a) written, signed permission from you, and (b) proof of the agent's identity.

Non-discrimination. We will not deny services, change pricing, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised this right.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 on this Site, and we do not sell or share the personal information of any minor under 16 — regardless of consent status.

CCPA/CPRA also gives California residents the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete personal information we collected from you.
• Limit our use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information beyond § 7027(m) operational purposes).
